Tilley kayak, Mellon Charles
Nicola and Josh joined me to explore the craggy coastline in front of the holiday home they were staying in. As we pottered around we watched a couple of otters frolicking in front of us.

Laura, Ted, Will and Michelle joined me for a fun session exploring the craggy coastline around kerry bay. Ted and Will both took dips in the sea, always good to practice capsizing!
Nick, Rhona, Erin and Ross have paddled with me from Mellon Charles and Poolewe in the past, this time we set off from Gairloch to explore the coastline there.
James joined me for a second day in a row, this time to explore the islands of Loch Maree. The stunning scenery around the islands is always nice to be about.
James last paddled with me around the Isle of Ewe, we’ve had some trips planned since then but the wind had different ideas. Today the wind let us out for a morning paddle to explore the Inverewe coastline.
Jane and Davide spent the afternoon with me paddling around the coastline. We made it all the way around to Slaggan bay and had a stretch of the legs and a brew on the beach there.
Callum, Ryan, Louis, Matt and George all met me at the boom beach in Mellon Charles for a paddle in the sea kayaks. We paddled around the craggy coastline and around to Camas an Fheidh for a brew on the beach.
Joris and Sybria joined me on a sunny day to explore the coastline from Poolewe. It was a nice relaxing afternoon as we pottered along watching the birds and jellyfish go by.
Graeme, Diane and Rebecca joined me for a sunny morning paddling in the sea kayaks from Poolewe. Not quite as warm water as their home waters in Grand Cayman, so luckily none of them fell in!
After a busy morning it was a busy afternoon with Moira, Cathy, Audrey, Nancy, Jack, Jo, Simon and Peter kayaking with me. We headed out for some fun and wildlife spotting.
A busy morning with Elspeth, Olivia, Hamish, Hettie, Andrew, Denise, Tom and Dom all joining me to explore Kerry bay by kayak. As we paddled we spotted seals swimming and lounging about resting on rocks.
Susan, David and Erynn joined me again for another session on the water. In the past we’ve been from Badachro and Gairloch, so this time we went for Poolewe. David jumped in a canoe with me whilst the others went for sea kayaks.
Sarah, Keith, Rachel and Moss joined me for a morning in sea kayaks. We headed off and explored, spotting seals and an otter as we paddled. Keith tried out his 30ish year old rolling skills and successfully rolled his kayak, much to Rachel’s annoyance as she’s recently been learning how to roll!
Alex, Lucy, Sam and Joe all met me for a fun afternoon on the water in kayaks. As we paddled we spotted seals swimming around.
Gavin, Calum and Jackson joined me for a morning kayaking from Poolewe. We went for a sit on top and a couple of sea kayaks to explore the coastline and have some fun.
Alicja, Adrien and Chloe joined me for a morning exploring the coastline and looking for wildlife. We panned it well to get off the water before the heavy rain and thunder, getting the best of the day on the water!
Maryline, Olivier, Noelie and Louann met me for a kayak trip on their holiday around Scotland. As we paddled we had a white tailed eagle fly overhead, giving us a good show.
Susie, Tony, Rosa, Nancy, Jack, Alisha and Charlotte all joined me for a morning paddling from Gairloch harbour. As we paddled we met a number of seals bobbing about between the harbour and kerry bay.
