Jon and Tash met in in Gairloch for a kayak trip around the craggy coastline. We had quite a few seals watch us as we explored the craggy coastline.

Rachael and Mike joined me in Poolewe for a paddle to explore the coastline and see what we could spot. Despite a bit of a breeze at time it was a good afternoon with some nice sunshine.

Rachael and Jack joined me for an afternoon on the water, exploring the coastline and little islands at Boor. I didn’t spot an otter this session but Jack was lucky enough to spot one as we paddled back from our brew break.

Niamh and Tom joined me for a paddle around the coastline at Poolewe. We’d had to postpone our session from earlier on in the week because the wind had been far higher levels than forecast initially. I quite often spot otters along this section of coastline and today a youngish otter put on a little display for us!

Martin first joined me back in 2020, since then he’s got himself a kayak joined a club and been on some courses. He’s certainly got the kayaking bug! We headed out around the coastline from Mellon Charles, we went there specifically to get some bumpier conditions to test his skills a wee bit (although the picture makes it look very calm!).

Mike, Euan and Charlotte joined me for a morning on the water. The sun shone and it was a great morning on the water to paddle about exploring the coastline and munch on seaweed.

Carol, Iain, Rebecca and Emily met me for an afternoon paddling around the craggy coastline of Poolewe. It was a great calm afternoon on the water to splash about in boats.

Joanne, Michael, Paul, Kathryn, Jack, Jack and Lisa all met me for a busy morning on the water. It was a lively session with even the seals getting involved.

Lyndsay & Darren paddled with me last year and they were keen to book again this year. We headed out in sea kayaks this time, exploring the coastline and islands.

Hannah, Meg, Jonathan and Holly joined me in sea kayaks to explore the coastline. It was a fun morning splashing about on the water.

Stuart and Fay joined me on a breezy afternoon in Poolewe. We headed out to see the the craggy coastline, a bit of wildlife, learn some strokes and have some fun.

Shona and I spent the morning exploring the rugged west side of Gruinard Island. We got back to shore just as the wind started to pickup.

Allan, Cindy, Sasha, Kirsten, Caroline, Stuart and Katie all met me for an afternoon of fun on the water as we kayaked around.

Jason, Leah, Katie and Ruth met me at Gairloch harbour to get out in kayaks to explore the craggy coastline around Kerry bay.

Gordon met me and was keen to learn paddling skills about kit and self rescue techniques. He’s got his own boat and wants to be able to kayak safely. We spent time paddling about initially before spending a bit of time in the water, luckily it was a nice warm day!

Sherri & Linda joined me for a sunny session on the water. They struck gold and had not only seals, but a couple of otters too, plus a pod of dolphins very close to our boats and just to finish the session off, a white tailed eagle flew past.

Emma, Stephen and Daisy came out on a sunny afternoon to explore around the craggy shore line at Inverewe garden and have some fun.

Indra and Joe met me in Poolewe for a morning on the water. We had some fantastic sunshine and blue skies for the whole morning.
