Marieke and Rhona met me for an afternoon kayaking and wildlife spotting. The low tide meant we had a bit of a distance to carry the boats but it also meant we got to see lots of sea urchins and other wildlife around the coastline.
Bailey and Laura joined me this morning for a relaxed exploration of the craggy coastline from Gairloch harbour. Laura has been holidaying in the area for years and has wanted to get out kayaking with me for years, hopefully the morning didn’t disappoint.
Steven and Erica joined me for a paddle to explore the coastline and spot some wildlife. It was a lovely calm afternoon, so calm that on land it became a midgie nightmare, but luckily once on the water away from the land the midges died down.
Sarah, Duncan, Alexander and Lois joined me on a calm morning to have some fun on the water. As we paddled we learnt some skills whilst playing games.
Cathy, Pat and Callan joined me yet again for another adventure on the water. This time we explored the coastline from Poolewe to Midtown.
Michael, Ann Marie, Nuala and Eilis met me to learn some kayak skills, have some fun and explore on the water.
Jemima, Paul, Kirsten, Alix and Rory all joined me again for another adventure on the water. Probably their 8th session on the water with me, this time was probably the driest time yet with nobody jumping in.
Kirsty Xander and Amelia joined me by Poolewe to head out in the sea kayaks. We explored the coastline, visiting some little islands as we paddled.
Cathy, Pat and Callan joined me again for another fun session exploring the loch. Nice to see them again, and I’ll be seeing them again in a couple of days for another fun session.

Brigid and Chris joined me to explore the craggy coastline of Inverewe Garden. As we paddled we munched on various seaweed around the coast.
Mark and Emma joined me on Mark’s birthday to see the area from the water. They are normally busy running the great Aultbea Lodges, but without too many changeovers today they were able to escape for an afternoon.
David, Susan and Adam joined me to for a morning kayaking around the coastline at Inverewe. They opted for the sea kayaks, their speed easily tackling the wind.
Nicole and Clara met me for a fun morning exploring in kayaks. We found a remote beach to relax, stretch our legs and have a brew and biscuit on.
Tanya, Scout and Paolo met me for an afternoon exploring the craggy coastline around Inverewe, very different to the Miami coastline they use to paddle on.
Cath and Simon were visiting relatives in the area and fancied a paddle to explore from the water. As we set off from Poolewe we watched a white tailed eagle fly above us.
Will, Faye, Katie and Boyan joined me for an afternoon exploring the craggy coastline around Inverewe. It was a lovely sunny afternoon but the wind didn’t make it easy to get back to shore, being against us all the way from Camas Glas.
Cameron and Tamara moved up to the area last year, Mathew and Sam are visiting them and what better thing to do than get out on kayaks. We had a sunny blue sky morning to enjoy but a swift breeze to paddle back against and give us a workout.
