Lorna, Iain and Jean met me again, this time they brought along Gregor and young Jack. We had another day of sunshine and blue skies (it’s always like this in October up here….honest….), so we had a great time paddling around with the seals.
Susie, Ross, Isla and Eva met me for the afternoon session. We had a great paddle around Loch Shieldaig, playing games and seeing the wildlife as we went. 
Jo and Steve met me near the Shieldaig Lodge Hotel for a kayaking session around the bay to see what wildlife and sights we could see. We had a good session seeing seals, urchins, crabs and star fish to name a few things.
Matt, Susan, Ben and Anne-Marie met me at little Loch Shieldaig for an afternoon of kayaking. We enjoyed paddling around with the wildlife and sunshine. Anne-Marie chose to get extra close to the wildlife by falling in!
Alan, Amanda, Thomas, Harry and Matthew met me again this year for another session on the water. We’d paddle from Gairloch Harbour last year, this year we went from nearby on little Loch 
Shieldaig. Another fun session was had as we played games, saw wildlife and paddled around.
Adam, Joanne, Jacob, Abigail and Noah met me in the morning near the Shieldaig Lodge Hotel for a fun session paddling on the water.  They chose to use a mixture of sea kayaks and sit on top kayaks so that they could get a feel for how each type of boat paddles. Whilst finding the sea kayaks were a lot quicker they also found they weren’t quite so good for any games. 
It was a busy day, so I was meeting Emily, Tim, Elliot and George in the evening near the Shieldaig Lodge Hotel. We hadn’t managed to get out the morning before due to the wind speeds so we managed to fit it in now. Like with the rest of the day the midges found us early on, but soon got left behind on land as we paddled away from them. George took a quick dip early on in the session, I think a piranha to the face was partly to blame! Everyone else stayed dryish, ignoring the rain, till the end when Tim and George managed to go for a swim whilst Emily and Elliot kept their balance.
Alistair, Debra, Robert and Alex met me for a good session on the water, we started fighting the midges, but soon moved onto the beach to escape them. We had a good session paddling around the loch and playing games. Being in the shelter of the loch meant it was a little midgy on shore, but it meant we got shelter from the breeze meaning we had lovely calm waters to paddle on.
We met at a midge infested car park, so we all donned midge nets for our chatting at the start – a common look around these parts! Once we got onto the water we left the little pests behind and were able to breath freely. A fun session was had with plenty of games and excitement.
Malcolm, Hannah, Emily and George met me near the Shieldaig Lodge Hotel, just south from Gairloch. The were across from Inverness on a quick holiday. We had a good session, paddling in a bit of wind at times but managing to control the canoes well around the loch. Emily and George completed my balancing tasks well, not even falling off when I got them sitting on the very front of the canoes!
Sandy, Susan, Lucy and Isla met me in the afternoon to enjoy some paddling. We set off in canoes initially, Lucy joining me in my boat and the others paddling another canoe. After some skill learning, games and seal watching we switched over to kayaks. Once we got in the kayaks we learnt paddling skills in them and then played more games.
Lee, Clare, Arran and Caila met me near the Shieldaig Lodge Hotel for a fun filled morning in kayaks. We headed out to learn how to paddle them, played plenty of games, saw lots of wildlife and got wet.
Murray, Catherine, Cameron, Matthew and Fiona joined me a few yards from their holiday cottage in Badachro. We had some good calm conditions to paddle in, so calm that Cameron decided to throw himself in for a swim! It was a good session, with Cameron and Matthew trying their hardest to get each other as wet as possible.
Iain, Christine, Frazer, Calum and Cara joined me again for a session by the Shieldaig Lodge Hotel. We had paddled together a few years ago, from that experience I guessed it was going to be a very wet session with them! It was, and not just because of the rain! It was a fun session with plenty of games but we also managed to get some good views of seals whilst on the water.
Lisa, Bella, Cormac and Andy met me for an afternoon of fun on the water. We played lots of games, enjoyed the sunshine, got pretty wet, chatted to some seals and had a good time.
Maddie, Sue and Tony met me by the Shieldaig Lodge Hotel for a fun filled session. We learnt lots of skills, played lots of games, paddled
around some fantastic coastline and saw lots of seals.
Danny, Rebecca, Tom, Hannah, Hayley, Andy, Jason and Clare met me on a sunny afternoon in Badachro. With various levels of experience we set off to learn about the boats and how to handle them, enjoying a nice paddle in the sunshine with the seals.
David, Susan and young Erynn met me in Badachro for a fun session to try out canoeing and kayaking. We first set off in canoes on the hunt for seals, then we headed out in kayaks for more fun on the water.
