Eddie, Angela, Heather and Mickael all joined me for a nice paddle around the craggy coastline of Inverewe Garden. Eddie had been out with me back in 2021 whilst biking the NC500, good to see him back!
It’s been a few years since David, Janet, Ella and Josh paddled with me, today was Josh’s birthday and what better way to celebrate your birthday than paddling in the sunshine!
Nick, Rhona, Erin and Ross joined me again a year after their last session. We headed off in canoes and a sit on top kayak to explore, have some fun and learn some skills.
James, Duncan and Simon joined me to explore the craggy coastline from Poolewe and around Inverewe garden. The blue skies and sunshine helped make it a great afternoon.
Jatin and Shivam joined me again, almost a year to the day since last time. Shivam seemed quite keen to get wet with the amount of splashing he was dealing out so it was only right that he capsized at the end!
Wendy met me for a morning kayaking in Loch Ewe. She’s got her own sit on top kayak and was keen to try out a sea kayak. She had no problem adapting to the closed cockpit kayak at all.
Jayne and Paul joined me on a sunny afternoon to explore on Loch Ewe. Paul went for a sea kayak whilst Jayne opted for a sit on top kayak. Using different boats isn’t an issue at all on my sessions.
Les and Kathy met me on a blue sky, calm and perfect May morning. We set off on crystal clear water to explore the craggy coastline around Mellon Charles.
Eric and Riny joined me in Poolewe to explore the coastline around Inverewe garden and beyond to Camas Phail. As we paddled along we made sure we gave the seals that were hauled out on Leac Bhuidhe Mhor a good amount of space so that we didn’t worry them.
James joined me today to explore Loch Ewe. We paddled from Aultbea around the Isle of Ewe to Firemore Beach for a brew, then we headed back across to Sgeir an Araig, around the rest of the Isle of Ewe and back to Aultbea. Great conditions, good views and a nice bit of wildlife.
Kieran and Maddy joined me at Gairloch harbour to explore the coast down to Kerry Bay. The low tide on the way back gave us some good views of urchins, starfish and crabs.
