Gareth & Jan kayak, Loch Maree
Gareth and Jan joined me for a day to paddle around the islands of Loch Maree. We had tranquil peaceful paddling between some of the islands and bumpier windy paddling in parts to test our skills a little!

Bryan was keen to practice some self rescue skills, so we met up on a lovely afternoon and chatted through safety kit that’s worth having to get you out of an issue, then we got on the water and got wet. He did well, being able to empty his sea kayak and hop back on without any help or extra tools. It’s all about having the right technique.
Elly came out with me about seven years ago, then a few years ago she bought Rob a voucher as a present (what a fantastic present if I say so myself!), covid got in the way a wee bit and finally they made it out with me on the water. We had super weather and great wildlife to watch.
