Braeken kayak, Mellon Charles

Kris, Celine, Victor and Louis joined me on a stunning morning paddling from the boom beach in Mellon Charles. It was one of those blue sky days without a breath of wind all morning – lovely!

Barden kayak, Poolewe

Juanita, Scott and Dobby joined me for an afternoon exploring the craggy coastline of Inverewe. We had a Great Northern Diver swim past us as we sat watching seals.

Hills kayak, Poolewe

Chris, Amanda, Evie, Bodhi and Lavinia all met me for a fun afternoon kayaking on Loch Ewe. We explored the coastline, learnt some skills and had some fun.

Hamilton kayak, Poolewe

Dougie, Suzanne, Charlotte and Georgie joined me for a morning paddling around Inverewe garden. They’re staying in Inverewe House, so are getting to see the gardens from a different perspective.

Mackenzie kayak, Poolewe

Sharon, Iain, Ewan and Fiona all met me on a sunny afternoon in Poolewe. Sharon and Iain grew up in the area so know it well, paddling around the Inverewe coastline let them see it from a different perspective.

Trtik paddle, Gairloch

Pavel, Miluse, Lukas, Tomas and Daniel all joined me a morning on the water. Pavel, Miluse and Daniel all jumped in a canoe whilst Lukas and Tomas wanted to have the freedom of being in a boat by themselves.

Hollis kayak, Poolewe

Rachel, Ailsa, Rowan and Tierney are often up in this area visiting granny, this time they wanted to have some fun on the water. We had some fantastic conditions with blue skies and calm seas to explore with.

Ferguson kayak, Gairloch

Emelie, Graeme, Finlay and Eilidh met me on a damp afternoon in Gairloch, the greyness and dampness didn’t dampen their spirits and we had a great time paddling around the craggy coastline.

Aitken kayak, Gairloch

Lynne and Cameron joined me in a smaller group than planned due to a does of chicken pox, the missing family members didn’t stop us having fun as we splashed around the coastline.

Thompson kayak, Loch Ewe

Tom, Andrew and Iain joined me for their 8th time on the water. Today we chose to paddle from Poolewe to Aultbea, this meant the lads had less time to splash about in the water but Andrew did find a bit of time just at the end to go for a swim. Probably the longest period I’ve seen them in a kayak without jumping out for a long time! Dolphins swam by as we had our brew on a remote beach – not a bad afternoon.
