Allans Paddle, Gairloch

Max, Pippa, Fraser, James and Fiona came paddling with me from Gairloch harbour. The lads had paddled with me last year but it was Pippa and Fiona’s first time with me on the water. We had a fun time around the coastline from the harbour, plenty to see above and below the water.

Fereday Yates Kayak, Gairloch

Peter, Liz, Millie, Tasha, Amber and George came for a kayak. Half of them had paddled with me last year and still seemed to remember me pushing them in vividly – I’m sure I’m never that nasty!

Illidge Kayak, Gairloch

Kath, Darran, Thomas and Rebecca came kayaking with me in the afternoon, it might not have been a sunny blue sky day but the seals brightened up the day by popping up to watch us as we paddled.

Gouldthorpe Paddle, Gairloch

Nick, Louise, Adam and Chloe spent the morning with me exploring the coastline from Gairloch. Louise chose to join me in a canoe whilst the other opted for kayaks, my small person kayaks being ideal for Adam and Chloe.

Badami Kayak, Badachro

Arnie, Gina and Ossian spent a damp afternoon on the water with me from Badachro. Despite the liquid sunshine we had a great time exploring the rocky coastline and spotting seals watching us.

Lamb Judge Paddle, Shieldaig

Katie and Spencer both chose different boats to use on our trip, Katie deciding that the canoe was for her and Spencer opting for a sit on top kayak. We had another day of calm seas which made it easy for us to explore the coastline.

Mitchell Kayak, Shieldaig

The Mitchell group came out for an afternoon exploring the area by water on a mixture of sea kayaks and sit on top kayaks. They all had different levels of experience in kayaks but everyone soon got to grips with their boat, controlling them easily around the rocky coastline.

Clenaghan Kayak, Shieldaig

The Clenaghan clan met me on a grey day near the Shieldaig Lodge Hotel. The still water and low tide helped us spot wildlife as we explored the craggy coastline of little Loch Shieldaig.

Musa Kayak, Gairloch

Lesley and Magda came paddling with me on a very still and calm day from Gairloch harbour. The clear and still water allowed us to see plenty of wildlife below, like this Spiny Starfish and Lion’s Maine Jellyfish.

Merolle Canoe, Gairloch

Matthieu andĀ Juliette joined me on a sunny morning for a canoe along the crystal clear water from Gairloch. The water allowed us to see plenty of wildlife below the surface and above the water we spotted a sea eagle soaring around overhead.

Wittenberg Solomon Kayak, Shieldaig

Nicola, Kadya, Mossy, Tsui and Ruby came for a paddle from near the Shieldaig Lodge hotel. Nicola, Kadya and Mossy have been out with me quite a few times over the years. We saw plenty of seals on our trip around the coastline along with plenty of other creatures from the depths.

Gee Kayak, Shieldaig

Kathryn, Steve, Bev, James and Lucy joined me on a damp morning at Shieldaig. It might have been damp but we all had a great time paddling around the exciting coastline in individual kayaks.

Lowe Paddle, Gairloch

Alison, David, Nathaniel, Caitlyn and Tristan joined me for a fun morning paddling around the coastline. The nice low tide enabled us to spot starfish, urchins as well as the normal seals and jellyfish.

Watherston Kayak, Gairloch

Heather, Ellie and Tara joined me again for another session. They’d been out with me a couple of years ago and since they’re back in the area they made sure they booked again.
