Wilson Kayak, Gairloch
Pauline joined me again for another session, this time with Damien. We explored the coastline at a low tide so we were able to spot lots of sea urchins and starfish.

Ian, Wendy Euan and Angus came out for a paddle to explore the craggy coastline of Wester Ross. It’s quite different to the normal boating they do down in Norfolk!
Colin, Erin, Owen and Jonathan met me for a days paddling. These lillys found on one very sheltered part of the loch.
Allison and Will joined me again but this time with their own shiny boats. After years of planning to they’ve finally bought some so we spent lots of time chatting about gear to have to help keep you safe when out paddling. We had a wee bit of rain at times, making the scenery even more dramatic!
James, Wendy, Tom and Elliot came paddling with me for a fun session learning skills, playing games and seeing the wildlife on the water.
Clare, Sam and Sophie joined me a a damp morning at Shieldaig. The weather overnight hadn’t sounded promising from their camper van but the winds did ease and the rain even stopped at times!
Aimi, Martyn, Seth and Autumn came canoeing with me to explore the islands and coastline.
Jonathan and Suzanne joined me this morning to explore the craggy coastline and wildlife around Loch Shieldaig by Gairloch.
Simone, Robert, Sarah and Lorna met me for a fun session exploring and enjoying seeing Wester Ross from a different view point.
Terina, Adrien, Andrew, IainĀ Holger and Christiane are becoming regular customers now! We had another good morning on the water, remembering paddling strokes, having fun and exploring the craggy coastline.
Stella, Luke, Emily, Arthur, Aidan and Olivier met me for a fun afternoon on the water. Most folk stayed reasonably dry but some people get too carried away during games and end up falling in!
Judith, Philip, Hannah and Leon spent the morning exploring the coastline from Gairloch harbour. The seals came out to enjoy the fun we were having too.
Colin, Adrien and Hugo came to explore from the water in kayaks this afternoon. Not quite as warm here as it is where they live in Belgium but that didn’t put them off splashing about.
Andrew, Emma, Milly and Jacob came for a paddle from near the Shieldaig Lodge Hotel. We explored Loch Shieldaig whilst playing games and having fun.
Tansy, Stuart and Jessie joined me along with some sunshine for a relaxing afternoon exploring the coastline.
Maria, Mark, Charlie, Dan and Kayleigh met me on a drizzly morning. Everyone soon forgot about the dampness as we got on having fun in the boats! Maria and Mark run Shiskine holiday cottage, just a few miles out of Gairloch.
Emily and Kevin are newish to the area and were keen to explore the fantastic coastline on their doorstep (we launched 100m from their house!). The seals and Jellyfish came out to play, entertaining us as we explored the craggy coastline around Inverewe Garden.
Kathryn had a last minute holiday in Gairloch and luckily when she contacted me I had a space she could have. Since I don’t mix groups on session it looked like she’d be stuck with just my company for the afternoon but thankfully for her some seals joined us!
