The Clenaghan clan met me on a grey day near the Shieldaig Lodge Hotel. The still water and low tide helped us spot wildlife as we explored the craggy coastline of little Loch Shieldaig.

Lesley and Magda came paddling with me on a very still and calm day from Gairloch harbour. The clear and still water allowed us to see plenty of wildlife below, like this Spiny Starfish and Lion’s Maine Jellyfish.

Greg, Jane and Duncan met me for the afternoon at Gairloch. We had a fun time paddling around the coastline, some of us ene enjoying a dip in the chilly water!

Matthieu and Juliette joined me on a sunny morning for a canoe along the crystal clear water from Gairloch. The water allowed us to see plenty of wildlife below the surface and above the water we spotted a sea eagle soaring around overhead.

Nicola, Kadya, Mossy, Tsui and Ruby came for a paddle from near the Shieldaig Lodge hotel. Nicola, Kadya and Mossy have been out with me quite a few times over the years. We saw plenty of seals on our trip around the coastline along with plenty of other creatures from the depths.

Kathryn, Steve, Bev, James and Lucy joined me on a damp morning at Shieldaig. It might have been damp but we all had a great time paddling around the exciting coastline in individual kayaks.

Alison, David, Nathaniel, Caitlyn and Tristan joined me for a fun morning paddling around the coastline. The nice low tide enabled us to spot starfish, urchins as well as the normal seals and jellyfish.

Heather, Ellie and Tara joined me again for another session. They’d been out with me a couple of years ago and since they’re back in the area they made sure they booked again.

Pauline joined me again for another session, this time with Damien. We explored the coastline at a low tide so we were able to spot lots of sea urchins and starfish.

Ian, Wendy Euan and Angus came out for a paddle to explore the craggy coastline of Wester Ross. It’s quite different to the normal boating they do down in Norfolk!

Colin, Erin, Owen and Jonathan met me for a days paddling. These lillys found on one very sheltered part of the loch.

Allison and Will joined me again but this time with their own shiny boats. After years of planning to they’ve finally bought some so we spent lots of time chatting about gear to have to help keep you safe when out paddling. We had a wee bit of rain at times, making the scenery even more dramatic!

James, Wendy, Tom and Elliot came paddling with me for a fun session learning skills, playing games and seeing the wildlife on the water.

Clare, Sam and Sophie joined me a a damp morning at Shieldaig. The weather overnight hadn’t sounded promising from their camper van but the winds did ease and the rain even stopped at times!

Aimi, Martyn, Seth and Autumn came canoeing with me to explore the islands and coastline.

Jonathan and Suzanne joined me this morning to explore the craggy coastline and wildlife around Loch Shieldaig by Gairloch.

Simone, Robert, Sarah and Lorna met me for a fun session exploring and enjoying seeing Wester Ross from a different view point.

Terina, Adrien, Andrew, Iain Holger and Christiane are becoming regular customers now! We had another good morning on the water, remembering paddling strokes, having fun and exploring the craggy coastline.
