Val and John joined me for a very calm and sunny paddle around Inverewe garden. The sea surface was so calm it was easy to gaze down at the seaweed and wildlife below.
Suzanne and Brian joined me again for another session on the water. They had hoped to get out a couple of times with me but sadly due to the windy weather we’ve been having recently we only managed one trip. It was nice seeing some coastline that they’ve not paddled before, exploring Boor Rocks as we went past.
Rachel, James and Paul joined me to get out in sea kayaks. Rachel has her own sea kayak but her brothers haven’t kayaked before, so they were keen to get out and see why she likes it so much.
Mollie and Mick joined me for a morning paddling around the coastline at Inverewe Garden. We improved our paddling strokes as we paddled past seals and herons.
Scott joined me on a breezy morning to get out in the sea kayaks. We found a nice sheltered spot to learn some skills and explore the coastline.
Sam, Simon, Katie and Nathan all joined me for a gentle paddle to explore the coastline around Inverewe and the seabed below it. It was a great adventure to celebrate Sam’s birthday.
Sara and Andy live over in Beauly and are thinking of getting themselves some kayaks. We headed out with a sit on top kayak and a sea kayak to test them out and see which ones they liked the most. The verdict – well, they like both styles of boats and still don’t know, but at least they now have a much better idea about them and can make more of an informed decision.
Sophie and James met me for what turned out to be a slightly damp afternoon. The heavy showers that passed through between the sunshine added to the experience!
Sam and James joined me to explore the craggy coastline around Inverewe garden. We had a bit of a breeze and some fun waves to battle against at times, then at others it was relaxed and peaceful.
Gareth and Jan joined me for a day to paddle around the islands of Loch Maree. We had tranquil peaceful paddling between some of the islands and bumpier windy paddling in parts to test our skills a little!
Holly, Margaret and Richard all met me for an afternoon kayaking. Exploring the coastline and calming nerves on the peaceful and beautiful coastline.
Mohammed and Abdulaziz joined me for a good morning out in the kayaks. We headed out along the coast and around Boor rocks. A young curious seal swam along watching us for a while.
Ana and Adam met me in Poolewe for an enjoyable paddle around the craggy coastline to spot wildlife and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Charlie and Rebecca stopped off on their NC500 trip to join me for an afternoon on the water. They went for the sea kayaks and we headed off to explore the craggy coastline and spot wildlife.
Nick and Anita joined me again for another session on the water. We had lovely conditions to paddle around in, the glossy calm water allowed us to spot lots of star fish on the sea bed below our boats.
Jonny and Chris joined me to explore the coastline in beautiful sunshine. Perfect conditions to learn some skills and enjoy the peace and tranquility on our coastline.
Ben and Fiona joined me on a glorious morning. We had bright sunshine and warmth for our paddle around the craggy coastline. Some interesting wildlife as we paddled around including a crystal jellyfish, very uncommon in these parts.
